Janice Sandoval, Executive Chef, oversees the culinary operations of the 479-room Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge, including the newly opened upscale coffee shop & market, Paperback Provisions, and the bar & restaurant Paperback Tavern.

Janice brings more than 20 years of experience in the culinary industry working with fellow leading hotel brands such as Omni Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International. Since starting as a line cook at The Westin Indianapolis, she has held various positions including Pastry Chef at Columbia Club in Indianapolis, Sous Chef at Indianapolis’ Broadmoor Country Club, and Executive Chef of The Red Geranium and New Harmony Inn in Indianapolis. Most recently, she was the Executive Chef of Western Hills Country Club in Mount Vernon, Indiana. Janice holds an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts and a Minor in Baking and Pastries from Ivy Tech Community College, Indianapolis. Her strengths include menu development and maximizing the efficiency of staff, which will be integral for the upcoming opening of Paperback Tavern.
